Some people are born with the necessary gift, and some work hard to build on the few gifts they have.

Customers perceive your product or service quality from the quality of your marketing materials. Hence, if your product or service is high-range in price, then your marketing materials should be high-range in quality.

Sample 2:

Queensland Cancer Fund

The Queensland Cancer Fund is an independent, community-based charity organisation that informs and assists the public of Queensland about all factors relating to cancer.

The Queensland Cancer Fund requested us to design two sunscreen information handouts while complying to their corporate identity guidelines. These guidelines required a branded baseplate and the word ʻQueensland Cancer Fund' to be featured up top. The rest of the design had flexibility but needed to have colours reflecting the theme of the brochure as follows:

  • Infants Sunscreen brochure – we chose blue, green and gold as it reflected summer conditions. We also used a circular sun-like frame for the pictures to further capture the hot summer conditions.
  • Sunscreen Facts flyer – we chose blue and yellow as it reflected water, sand and sun and matches the sunscreen product featured. The flyer used a water texture to highlight the water-resistant sunscreen and the summer conditions.

The information flyers worked well and complimented the other marketing materials used by the Queensland Cancer Fund.
