For the last 28 years, we’ve been helping our clients present their credentials with polish, style and credibility. That’s a long time to be in business…and that’s thanks to the loyalty of our clients - something we work hard for and never take for granted. Many of our clients are completely new to this industry, so we make sure their experience is interesting, rewarding and time friendly.
As a boutique production company, our team - including the three working directors - is very much ‘hands-on’ for every project. We don’t outsource elements of production and are personally accountable for your finished product. Although this is our profession, we do it for pleasure, which hopefully is reflected in our approach and results. We’re also fast! And we can shoot any time you like, anywhere in the world.
What's always on our mind is that you must generate a return on your investment...
Today, a corporate video can be used in so many ways: for marketing, for training, for induction, for conferences and special events, or embedded on your website. Your video production could be an interactive DVD or CD…or be duplicated in the format of an ‘easy to post’, ‘easy to play’ DVD. We see our role as keeping up with the possibilities.
Marketing videos - now usually formatted to DVD - have been a popular marketing tool for 30 years – and they’re still one of the most effective ways to present your credentials and sell your products and services. With planning, this medium gives you wonderful flexibility - you could produce a shorter version to stream on your website or to display at trade shows, you could give a longer version to your sales force and customers. You could cut a television commercial from the footage. You could update monthly, yearly or every few years – and as you grow, your marketing video can change and grow with you.
One of the most important aspects of staff induction is consistency – getting the same message and values across, in the same way, again and again. Your own induction video is perfect for this – helping alleviate the usual time consuming process that ties up your people for great lengths of time.
Today, employees and customers are usually more receptive to DVD’s and multimedia than reading a manual. There’s the convenience of being able to stop, pause and replay - at a place and time of the viewers own choosing. Your training video can be used to teach skills to a large and geographically diverse audience, saving on the large expense involved with repeated training.
You might require single camera coverage of your event, or a multi-camera, vision mixed webcast to international audiences. In post production our editors produce the final video to your exact brief, whether you simply require highlights as a flavour of the event, or footage of all the keynote speakers perhaps shown alongside their slides. The video can be supplied in the format of your choice: on DVD, as a live webcast, or as a series of files to be streamed from the web.
The use of online video continues to increase with the rapid expansion of broadband…and with the Federal Government’s billion dollar commitment to improving ADSL bandwidths and speeds, we believe that most corporate videos will be delivered online in the future. You have instant world wide distribution – the viewer can see the video immediately – and if you change the content, it doesn’t mean scrapping unused DVD copies. When you consider the complete absence of airtime charges and the unregulated nature of the Net, streaming your marketing video can give you a very high return on your investment.
The length of your corporate video is a balancing act…for a longer video, the solution may be to provide the topic in modules or chapters, with menus and sub-menus to enable the viewer to quickly navigate to points of interest. This gives ultimate flexibility, with the option to ‘fast forward’ or skip chapters, or to revisit where aspects are not fully understood.
15 seconds - 30 seconds - 45 seconds - 60 seconds - 30 minutes! Today, you have greater flexibility and more choice with how and where you play your television commercial. You could set up a package that gives you repeated exposure by playing your longer 30 or 60 second version at the start of an ad break – and then reinforce your message with a short, sharp 15 second version at the end of the break or in the next break. This gives you repeated reinforcement for less airtime cost.
And don’t forget the cinema – we can transfer your commercial to the new digital cine ad format JPG 2000 and connect you with our cinema booking distributor. You might as well get maximum mileage from your commercial! With cable becoming more popular, you may find your audience prepared to watch through a full 30 minute infomercial - imagine how much you could tell them, how many opportunities you’ll have in that time to ask them to pick up the phone and call you!

My experience with Sound Images spans almost 2 decades. Whenever we have had the requirement to deliver a corporate or specific message using video as the medium, Sound Images has always been there to deliver a first class job.
We have used them for everything from corporate videos to training videos and even a Christmas video for staff. I would recommend them for any video requirements.

Cinema Ads
Airtime spots on metro TV can be expensive and reach too wide an audience – so why not consider cinema, which targets a more local audience? This is a very cost effective and powerful medium, often overlooked.
