Standard Terms and Conditions:


As a professional offering services in copywriting, social media, graphic design, marketing, web/digital design and photography, I require an agreed creative brief in writing prior to commencement. This is to ensure a mutual understanding of the brief and creative direction between all parties. A creative brief template can be downloaded from my website or call me for a discussion about this information.

A 50% deposit payment is required on commencement of all jobs as outlined below. All prices and packages are subject to; standard content limits and time limits, commercial quality resources (client supplied), including digital text, images and resources, e.g. Word text files, digital high resolution images (300 dpi) for print, digital web resolution images (72 dpi) for websites and CSV files for email marketing. Images supplied by clients are expected to be available for use without infringing third party copyright laws. Image usage my involve restrictions for web or print based on the size and format of images.

I reserve the right to re-quote and re-invoice when sub-standard resources (images, text, logos, graphics, artwork and CSV files) are provided under commercial quality or incompatible with Adobe Creative Suite software, or when job content volume increases above the standard limits, or job time increases above package time limits. This may occur due to additional draft changes, design changes, re-structuring, or the creative brief changes from the initial agreed brief.

Time limits apply to all packages and include one free draft of minor edits to artwork or services presented, excluding photography and video. Additional draft changes to artwork or copy, major alterations, artwork re-designs, content re-writes, Photoshop image services and creative direction changes will be quoted as requested.

Photoshop image services include: resizing, reformatting, creating transparencies, etching backgrounds, cloning elements, colour and light balancing, deconstruction, up-scaling or down-scaling image resolution and size.

Logo and topplate graphic packages are small stationery sized graphic files, supplied in colour and mono jpeg formats, for use in emails, Word files and business stationery, e.g. business cards, letterheads and invoices.

 

Photography is for use in client artwork designed by 2020 Impact. Prices are based on sufficient lighting, props and accessories provided in a metro location and commercial quality people/subjects/products are supplied by clients. Time limits apply; Silver 3hrs, Gold 7.5hrs and Platinum 8.5hrs, image limits apply, includes $50 call-out on location fee.

Video is for use in client websites, corporate presentations, digital screens and social media that is filmed and edited by 2020 Impact. Prices based on sufficient lighting, silence, props and accessories provided in a metro location and commercial quality people/subjects/products are supplied by clients. Time limits apply; Silver 3hrs, Gold 7.5hrs and Platinum 8.5hrs, includes $50 call-out on location fee.

Overtime for photography and video is charged at same rate per hour. If final high resolution images are required to be reformatted to tiff or jpg and transferred to CD with copyright ownership assigned to client add $200.00 + GST = $220.00. If final master collection videos are required to be reformatted to AVI or MOV or MP4 and transferred to DVD with copyright ownership assigned to client add $200.00 + GST = $220.00.

If insufficient lighting, silence, damaged or unclean products, or unsuitable people are provided upon arrival for photography or video filming, I reserve the right to charge $100 call-out fee and re-quote photography or video filming.

 

Standard Content limits apply to all packages and services:

- Logo content limit standard symbol, name and positioning line

- Website content limit 250 words, 4 images or logos in total per page

- Electronic direct mail (EDM) limit 1 topplate, 6 images, 500 words and 7 hyperlinks

- Graphics content limit 250 words, 4 images or logos in total per A4/A3 page, banner or poster

- Copywriting content limit 250 words per A4/A3 page, banner or poster

- Social Media limit 250 words and 1 image per post

- For all other items content limits apply and extra content is quoted upon request

 

Payment Terms:

- Web Design for small websites 2-6p (no programming), 50% deposit, 50% on final artwork completion to activate

- Web Design for small websites 2-6p with Flash, CMS or PHP Programming and/or additional features, 50% deposit, 25% on artwork completion, 25% on site completion to activate

- Web Design for large websites 10p+ with Flash, Java, CMS or PHP Programming and/or additional features, 50% deposit, 25% on artwork completion, 25% on site completion to activate

- Graphic Design with print production, 50% deposit and 50% on artwork completion to contract print production

- Digital Design (no print), Social Media and Copywriting, 50% deposit and 50% on service completion prior handover

- Photography or Video Filming service, 50% deposit prior photoshoot or filming and 50% on service completion prior handover

- Minimum invoice value is $220.00 GST Inc

 

All 3rd party services are subject to change upon notification including: custom web coding/programming, website hosting, domain names, email systems and print production. I reserve the right to correct any printing errors and 3rd party price increases. In the event supply costs increase I will re-quote these as soon as possible.

Prices are valid until notification of new prices or new prices are updated in 2020 pricelists or shown here. All packages are small business introductory special offers based on 35% discounted rates for new clients, unless other discounts are shown in the packages. I reserve the right to quote different package prices for medium and large sized business clients. Further details, specifications and terms for each package can be requested on application, valid for 2016, updated 01.01.16.
