WEBSITE SEO optimisationWhat is SEO, this is an acronym for Search Engine Optimisation, e.g. ensuring a website complies to industry standards and lists well on search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and Ask. Website optimisation starts with a clear business idea and marketing strategy, which forms the basis for strategic website content and design. It then moves into production and requires a site is built to world wide web (W3C) industry standards, e.g. like html pages, optimised H1 headings, content, page tags, meta details (title/description/keywords), strategic links and xml sitemaps. SEO begins at the website content level, so if you have a small business and you're looking to promote online please remember this.
